Named in honor of Professor Robert A. Dahl, a foundational figure in the modern study of democracy, Dr. Dahl (the dodo) breaks down complex concepts like proportional representation and institutional design with humor and humility.
Dr. Dahl dons a 🎓 scholars cap, to represent our desire to make academic research accessible to all people, and a 🥼 lab coat, in honor of DODO's diagnostic approach. A curious and comical type, Dr. Dahl frequently has other props and is so evolved he's learning to fly.

Receiving two doctorates by 1662 (a medical doctorate and one of the first ever doctorates in political science), Dr. Dahl has had an esteemed career pioneering Demognostics and DODO's four-step diagnostic approach:
Reflect on values to build self-awareness.
Identify the “symptoms” that negatively affect democracy.
Diagnose the underlying “ailments” responsible for those symptoms.
Prescribe evidence-based actions and reforms to facilitate a lasting recovery.
